We create life every day. But we want to make sense of it. For this reason, more than 15 years ago we created the Committee of CSR Y Sustainability And since its creation, we have not stopped promoting innovative initiatives to generate value for society. We accompany our patients towards motherhood or fatherhood, and we want this path to be as sustainable and as careful as possible with the Environment, with people and with society.
That’s why when the Valencia Chamber of Commerce He told us that we had been awarded the # PremiosCámara2019 to the company with the best sustainable work, which made us especially excited. This award is a very important recognition as a company since our commitment to Sustainability stems from our values and our corporate vision and mission, which is why it reinforces our social and environmental commitment with a long-term perspective.
The Night of the Valencian Economy
The award ceremony, held in Valencia, on November 21, also served to recognize Royo fabrics (Award for Innovation in the company); Power Electronics Spain (Impetus Award for Internationalization); Alfatec Systems (Award for Excellence in the Business Management Model); IVI RMA Global (Award for the Socially Committed Company) and Laiex (Prize for Digital Transformation). What’s more, Francisco Lorente received the distinction to the Business Path.
The award was collected by the president of IVI, and co-founder of the company, the teacher Jose Remohi, in the hands of the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig and the Vice Mayor of Valencia Sandra Gomez.
Sustainable IVI: the initiatives we work on
Among the programs are:
- Free fertility preservation for cancer patients: a program that has been running since 2008 and that allows, free of charge, to vitrify oocytes, ovarian cortex or sperm of patients diagnosed with cancer so that, once their disease is over, they can become fathers and mothers if they wish.
- Stronger Together: annual social initiative through which employees worldwide travel 10,000 kilometers for the benefit of a social project. Each kilometer traveled is transformed into a dollar by IVIRMA.
- Teaming: one euro a month from the employees’ payroll goes to a social project chosen by the professionals themselves. The amount collected by professionals is doubled by IVIRMA.
- Family Plan of the Adecco Foundation: a socio-labor insertion program for relatives of employees with some type of special need.

IVI’s ‘Stronger Together’ social project, best CSR action at the Mediterranean Marketing Night
Last October, IVI’s CSR department proposed to the staff the challenge ‘Stronger Together’, with the aim of traveling, for a whole month, 10,000 km that would translate into 10,000 dollars to help build “La Azotea Azul”, a therapeutic play garden for children admitted to the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville.
The response was spectacular and almost 850 IVI employees from around the world wanted to add kilometers to support this social initiative. The result: We got it in just one week !! More than 4,250 individual exercises and more than 485 selfies were recorded – a further sign of each participant’s pride in contributing to the proposed cause.
Last night, in addition, this corporate social responsibility initiative was winner of the Mediterranean Marketing Night Awards, so at IVI we are in luck! The global director of Human Resources and the Sustainability area of IVI, Andreu Miquel, was in charge of collecting the award.
In his speech he wanted to thank this recognition: “in just one week, more than 800 IVI professionals around the world traveled the distance proposed for the challenge, a sign of our degree of commitment to this type of social action. That, in addition, it is valued in this way, is really rewarding”.
The project “Together We Sumamos, make your steps add up and leave a mark” was developed together with other actions, such as the distribution of more than 2,000 solidarity bracelets among the IVI staff, the proceeds of which also served to support the “La Azotea Azul” project. One of the objectives of IVI’s CSR area was also to involve all workers and promote interdepartmental integration (worldwide!), For which teams were formed that, far from competing against each other, added kilometers to achieve this challenge. In the words of Andreu Miquel, “IVI-RMA Global –the merger with RMANJ took place in 2017– materializes in joint commitments such as the one that made us worthy of this award last night”.
