We want to present you an initiative framed within our area of Sustainability and that to achieve the goal, it will have the involvement of all IVI employees, worldwide: Stronger Together.
At IVI we help thousands of people to fulfill their dream of having a child, while we innovate with the heart to create healthy and meaningful lives. But we do not want to stop there, but for us the health and future of women and babies are a priority. For this reason, this year we again take a step forward and launch Stronger Together, a social initiative through which, throughout the month of October, IVI employees will join our steps (walking, running, with the bicycle) to travel 10,000 kilometers.

This year, in its second edition, Stronger Together will allocate the dollars raised through the efforts of IVI employees to March of Dimes, a non-profit organization of North American origin, which helps mothers have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
This organization leads the fight for the health of all mothers and babies, through research, social programs and comprehensive support for families.
In its more than 80 years of service, the March of Dimes has created a legacy of impact and innovation for millions of children and mothers.
One of the main projects is the fight to reduce premature births, which is the main cause of death in newborns. Babies born prematurely are at risk for serious health problems and disabilities throughout their lives.
As well explains Chris Wang, member of the association, “IVIRMA and the March of Dimes share the goal of reducing prematurity and low birth weight in babies. We have made great strides in reducing prematurity. It is logical for our organizations to collaborate, as we both seek to minimize these risks. None of us can do this alone. Working together, our impact will be exponentially better and we will achieve healthier and happier babies.”.

The Blue Roof, first goal achieved
Already last year, in the first edition of the Stronger Together initiative, IVI and its employees made possible the Blue Roof project, which materialized in the creation of a circoteca for hospitalized children, located on the roof of the Virgen del Rocío Children’s Hospital in Seville.
And is that childhood, women and health are the three pillars on which IVI’s activity is built, a company dedicated to women who need the help of reproductive medicine to achieve their dream of having a baby. A trident that gives meaning to the work of all professionals who live as their own the desire of each woman and couple who place their greatest desire in IVI.
Such was the success of this corporate challenge in its first edition that in just one week the proposed 10,000 km were covered to make the Blue Roof a reality.
