Childhood is one of the pillars on which our work is founded, so our sustainability pays special attention to the little ones. This is the case of Sergio, a 4-year-old boy with heart disease. Since he was born, he has dealt with his illness with strength and courage with an illusion that gives him hope to face his battle: One day meeting Mickey, Pluto and their friends.
An illusion that Make-A-Wish Spain, dedicated to restoring strength and hope to children with serious illnesses, with the collaboration of IVI, has been able to make a reality.
What did the initiative consist of?
The involvement of IVI employees has been essential to fulfill Sergio’s dream. More than 250 messages dedicated to the little one that IVI has turned into an economic donation for its cause. Each message has helped illuminate a star in the illusion of IVI’s universe; a firmament that has guided the little one towards a dream that he longed for and that he has finally been able to fulfill. Sergio has been able to meet his friend Mickey and, together with his family, has been able to enjoy a wonderful experience in the land of fantasy. And it is that a disease should not prevent a child from living the illusion, innocence and naivety of a happy childhood.
