IVI arrived in Malaga 5 years ago full of enthusiasm to help our patients fulfill their dream of starting a family. Together we have lived and shared many moments of joy, tears of emotion and hugs. Today, more than 400 babies have been born thanks to the help of Dr. Anabel Salazar’s team.
For all the professionals who make up IVI Málaga, the patient is the center and our reason for being. We understand that an assisted reproduction treatment is stressful and generates a lot of anxiety, our goal is none other than that this experience is as easy and comfortable as possible.
The 5th anniversary also comes with a surprise gift. In recent years we have grown, we have become great, so in 2019 our commitment has been to offer a new facility, especially focusing on a new laboratory that allows us to continue improving our results and at the same time answer a question that patients do us a lot, What is done inside the laboratory?
The new IVI Malaga laboratory has a panoramic window, very safe and specific, where you can view with all the guarantees what is done at all times.
So we can see the daily work of embryologists. It is a part a little more unknown but that we love to teach. The new laboratory is segmented into different compartmentalized areas. This new way of working distinguishes the genetic area in one place, the vitrification of embryos in another, the embryo cultures in another area … and what does this mean? That in the end the results will be better if each part of the procedure is performed in a specific area.
But it is not only here, safety is a maximum for us, so we have implemented a sample traceability system. Both semen, oocytes, and embryos of each patient have a code, from when they enter the consultation for the first time until they leave their transfer, controlled through different scanners to verify that every time we do something, we are doing it on the sample from that patient.
In the end, very special bonds are generated. Every day we receive visits from families with their babies who come to see where it all started. They fill us with joy, enthusiasm, satisfaction … for us they are our vitamin, our source of energy and the reason why we continue working every day, because in the end, as I tell my patients, being a father is the most important thing to do. is going to happen in your life and we are very proud to have been part of that process with them.
